Deepfake is technology to make a fake video to be gone viral. This software is made with AI, this is a very dangerous software which can make any fake video or image.
What it does?
In, this software, AI makes a virtual image of a person in a video or image and copy the face to another video or image. It can only be done by AI. It also change the facial expressions of a person in a video or image to depict that person mimicking a real time person or a person in another video or image.
Its history and where it has been used
It has been originated by a person on reddit whose user name was "deepfakes". He used to create many deepfakes, after him many peoples started using deepfakes. It is mostly used for Barack Obama, and then on Donald Trump. It is mostly used for fake videos to be gone viral and to make a fake news. It was once, used in a movie named Justin league. In this movie the actor Henry Civil was a superman, his some scenes had to be taken again. But Henry Civil had already grown up her mustache for another film. So for the film "Justin league", VFX is used to draw out the mustache, but after all this, some particles of mustache left on the face, so deepfake was used there to completely draw out mustaches. For this special effect, thousands of dollars were spent. It needed money, time and other necessities. You don't need much money for this, an ordinary laptop and a good internet connection is minimum necessity.
