First of all fish you all a very very happy new year 2019, so today's topic is 8gb ram enough in 2019, as the past year has gone which was 2018, no games has been released in 2019 because it is the starting of 2019 so how any game can be released, but anyway, coming back to the topic, I am going to talk about 8 GB ram and games of 2018, so let's start.
Games of 2018
As you know many games have been released in 2018, several big games and several small games, and if we talk about the biggest game recorded in the history of games is Grand Theft Auto V, but if we talk about some smaller games than Grand Theft Auto V then we will think about Watch Dogs 2, Mafia III, Max Payne 2, Sleeping Dogs, but just wait a minute, did you think that what are the specifications needed by these games are too high such as Intel core i5 or later, 8 gb ram, 60 gb free HDD, NVIDIA GTX 1060 3 gb or later. So, for this we need atleast 8 gb of RAM.

Now, if we talk about 8 gb ram, so, 8gb of RAM is the minimum choice that you have if you want to game a lot and if you don't want a PC for video editing, but I recommend you to have 16 gb RAM if you want to do a 4K gaming and if you do a lot of video editing, but after reading this many people would think that why I was saying that 8 gb of RAM is not enough in 2018 and 2019, but to answer this question, I meant to say that it is able to play some games but after 2018, many applications have been released, and for several applications 8 gb of RAM is not sufficient, now take an example of Chrome browser, we can run only 12 - 14 tabs at a time otherwise your PC would hang. So, the conclusion is that 8 gb RAM is enough in 2018 - 2019 but it would be not be sufficient after 2020.
