Components of a touch screen

So, hi guys, today I gonna show you the components of a touch screen.

Components and working of touch screen:

A basic touch screen has a touch sensor, a controller, and a software driver as three of its main components. A touch screen needs to be combined with a display and a PC to make a touch screen a working touch screen system.

Touch sensor:

The sensor generally has an electrical current or signal going through it and touching a screen causes a change in the signal. This touch is used to identify and determine the location of the point where the touch screen has been touched.

Controller:

A controller would be connected between touch sensor and PC. It takes information from PC and translates it into the language in which the PC can understand. the controller identifies and determines the type of connection is needed.

Software driver:

A software driver allows the PC and touch screen to work together. It tells the operating system the way to interact the touch event information which is sent by the controller.
