Speed up your Windows 10 PC
Many windows users don't get good performance from their PC because PC's specs are low, so here's a way by which you can speed up your PC and get the best performance from your PC.
Below are some steps, follow them to get best performance. It wouldn't harm your PC.
1. Change power options
Open Control Panel, click on "System and Security", now click on "Power Options". Here you would see two options, one is "Balanced" another one is "High Performance", click on "High Performance".
Note:
If you use a Laptop then the second option would be shown as "Power Saver", don't select this option.
2. Disable startup programs
Press Ctrl + Left Shift + Esc on your keyboard, Task Manager will be opened, here you would see many tabs, click on the 4th tab named as "Startup".
After that you would see a list of programs that run on your PC while starting and these programs slows down your PC.
Select the programs which you use often or is not in your use, and click on "Disable". But don't disable your antivirus.
3. Delete all temporary files
Press Windows key + R on your keyboard, and type "%temp%" without quotes, it will open the location in your PC where your temporarily files are kept, delete all the files because they are unnecessary.
4. Optimizing drives and Defragment
Click on start menu and search for "Defragment and Optimize drives". Now select drives and optimize them for a good performance.
5. Reduce your run-time service
Press Windows key + R on your keyboard, and type "msconfig" without quotes, it will open "System configuration".
Click on the third tab, then on left corner of the program you would see a checkbox whose description is "Hide all Microsoft services", then click on "Apply", and then click on "Ok".
6. Reduce visual effects
Open control panel and navigate to "System and Security/ System/ Advanced System Settings". Now click on the third tab "Advanced" and then click on "Settings" under "Performance". Here you would see 4 check boxes, click on the third checkbox named as "Adjust for best performance".
Now do a restart, and your PC is at the best stage. Now you would get the maximum performance off your PC.
