What is computer VIRUS?
One might think of a computer VIRUS as a tiny computer program designed to perform mischief. Its full form is:
V - Vital
I - Information
R - Resources
U - Under
S - Seize
Most computer users have heard about computer viruses. A computer virus is the result of a destructive program that someone has written or created and placed inside a computer program.
Where do these Viruses come from?
They certainly do not float in the air. Instead, like any other computer program, a human must have created them, i.e., computer virus is a program created by people like us which activated, can get into a personal computer, without permission of user and destroy the valuable information.
Who create these Viruses?
A person might have created them, just as fun or just as a challenge. Nobody, exactly know that why people create them, many people have created theory on them. A professional person ( like a programmer) can create them.
Viruses
There are five types of Viruses, these are:
1. Boot Virus (Boot Sector Virus)
2. Program Virus
3. Multipartite Virus
4. Worm Virus
5. Trojan horse Virus
Now, let us learn these!
1. Boot Virus
Boot Viruses are the types of viruses which affect the files which are used for booting the PC, like shutdown, floppy disk and start up files. This can only be executed when the system is booted from an infected disk. When these Viruses affect a BIOS level, it uses a DOS command to spread to other floppy disks.
2. Program Virus
Program Virus are the types of viruses which infects the program files such as the files of the programs that we have installed. It can even present in the files of social medias, CD, Internet and E-mail. They can only be executed when the user executes them like if it is hidden in a useful program and we run that useful program then the Program Virus will automatically be executed with the useful program.
3. Multipartite Virus
Multipartite Viruses are the combination or hybrid of Boot and Program Virus, it effects both the Boot and Program files. It is very hazardous for a computer. It executes very fast and without the help of any program or something else.
4. Worm Virus
Worm Viruses are the types of viruses that replicates itself over a large computer network. It needs the help of an execution so that they can replicate themselves. It can only hide in a program. It can also get into our computer by files sent to you by E-mail or social media.
5. Trojan Horse Virus
Trojan Horse Viruses are the types of Viruses that show their identity as a useful program to us and to Anti-Viruses. It is the most dangerous and hazardous Computer Virus. There is a story behind its name. The story is:
Once upon a time, a king was fighting with City of Troy to save the Beautiful Helen. The king was not able to win so he thought that he should first make the king of City of Troy his friend, and then attack on that city. The king did as he thought, and he won and saved the beautiful Helen.

2. BAGLE
3. MORRIS WORM
4. THE CONCEPT VIRUS
5. CIH VIRUS
