Blogger needs a custom sitemap for better SEO and ranking, most of you might be using Blogger and may be searching for sitemap for your blog.
I myself was surfing the internet for this. Now, I found the solution for this.
I created my first sitemap about 6 - 7 months ago. So, I decided to tell you about creating a sitemap for Blogger. But keep in mind that it is only for Blogger blogs, not for others.
Below, I am going to tell you about how you can create a sitemap for your Blogger blog and how you can submit it to Google and Bing.
1. Open your web browser and open this web page - Sitemap Generator .
2. Here you have to enter your blog's web address such as "https://www.example.com" without quotes.
3. After this, just press on "Generate Sitemap".
4. Your sitemap is will now be shown on your screen, just copy that XML and paste that in the place which I will tell you in next step.
5. Open Blogger overview, now click on "Settings" at the left panel, now click on "Search Preferences". Scroll down and find "Custom robots.txt", click on "Edit", here paste the generated XML sitemap and save the changes made.
Now, your sitemap is ready. Now go ahead and submit your sitemap to Google's Webmasters. And you are all set.
